I love my system too much

And that's a problem ? Well YES, because I just can't seem to able to muster the prerequisite feelings of disgust, boredom, greed, lust or unhappiness necessary to tear me from the warm embrace of my "old" CDS2 and into the muscular arms of a shiny new '3. At the moment I'd just as soon spend the cash on a tree.
Any words of encouragement, derision, anger, anything that'll give me a decent dose of upgradeitis would be appreciated. No silliness please.

Nick, I know what you mean, but the power of the precious grows so strong

Hello Minky
I have read everybody's attempts to make you desire a thing of beauty and fail. I see the following :
a) You are totally delighted with the music your system is making.
b) You are prepared to spend a large wad of cash on an improvement.
c) You definitely WANT the CDS3 but need a "gameplan"........
Here's my suggestion :
a) Spend approximately £3k on breast augmentation. Mrs. Minky will go mad and think you've totally flipped while dragging you to the Naim Dealership so you can spend money "wisely" like before. You do not put up a great deal of struggle.....
b) If there is no Mrs. Minky (or she likes the previous suggestion) you'll have SO much fun that the complete condition of upgraditis moves from aural nirvana to competing for Page 3 exposure.
Please, before you declare me totally insane, think about everything again - you are happy.......why spoil it ???????

Minky,
Sideshowbo's right, it's a DPS turntable. Heard one once and it sounded fantastic, really tuneful and music - certainly in the LP12 ballpark and certainly a thing of beauty.
Jun Keller's got one and reckons it has better PRaT than the LP12 it replaces.
