I am used to spend now 100 Euros month in CD´s!I most listen Radiohead,Travis ,Divine comedy,Mercury Rev,Depeche Mode! The problem is recently I start to listen heavy metal too, like Nightwish,Dark tranquility,Samael, etc. What you think about metal?I wonder if it is all rigth to spend 40 Euros more by month or should I forget the heavy metal and focus in pop/alternative music instead?

I think it is better to allocate your budget in a balanced way to maximise the benefit.
Say 60% front end, 20% amps & 20% back end.
So go spend 60 Euro on Dolly Parton CD's, 20 Euro on Motorhead and associated metal, and the final 20% on a Rick Waller CD boxed set.

I like to have a very big variety, covering pretty much all types of music so that I can listen according to what mood I am in.
Personally, I am not a fan of most of the bands you have mentioned above, but its your system, your ears.
My suggestion is that you maybe explore some different types of music then you have opportunities to enjoy your system even more.

Actually, there is no pop alternative to metal, so get stuck in. It will take you eventually to grunge at one extreme, to punk, and eventually to hardcore dance and industrial. Have you heard Land Of Rape & Honey by Ministry? You should. There is some really good metal out there and it isn't just Goth either. There have been many metal threads here, so check out the new search engine. There are enough people here into metal that can give some good pointers.

Is this an early entry for the 2005 Most Anally Retentive Post award?
Its nearly as bad as those people who like to give an exact percentage improvement a new component adds to their system. (Addin a hicap brought a 13% improvement to the overall PRaT....Yawn!)
Does anyone really decide on their next musical purchase by applying some sort of mathematical equation?
Sorry Nuno. Don't mean to be critical but I think you might need a holiday!

These people write adverts for hairproducts eg:"79% of users found a 21.6% improvement in bat reppellant properties of their hair, after using BO 5 with Anal A tm "

I like those adverts for ladies face cream where they say 80% of users said they THOUGHT the product made them look younger!
Well that's scientifically proven then!
Applying statistics to also include placebo effect as a positive result surely doesn't take anyone in, does it?
But then I suppose 100% of Mana users say they BELIEVE that 14th layer makes reproduced music sound better than with 13 layers. Who are we hifi types to judge!
