Well, if that were true, his daughter sure spent the next few years ensuring that she was no longer so. Can't imagine what I did wrong not to get a crack at her!

Well that's allright then, though if as a daughter my father acted in such a way, I'd not think a great deal of him to be honest.

I remember some of that being covered over here in the news. As if she might not be "pure" enough for Charlie.
Wow.
That's enough for my first emoticon on this forum ever.

The fact that she was required to be a virgin was really no suprise, and for me personally neither here nor there, I refer to the actions of her father.
Fritz Von My own uncle married a Jordanian girl years ago, and her brothers gleefully showed a bloodied sheet to the world (as is the custom) after consumation ? top prove her purity, and the honour of the family, innit.

A very sad topic Fritz. For a moment I thought you meant consumption.
Posted on: 21 February 2005 by Lomo
I only mention this topic again because our govt. has acceded to a whim of a certain gentleman to visit OZ at the expense of the local tax payers. Apparantly this is a British tradition dating back to the first fleet. I can't help thinking that if his pater had been a little more positive and made him stay here after his schooling and marry a good Aussie lass things would have turned out for the better , for him that is, and you would be paying for his holidays over there. A win win situ all round I believe.

Latest reports coming in suggest that both Robinson & Parry will not be attending the Royal wedding on April 8th. Neither of the Princessess have yet commented but, an ADC has issued a statement to the effect that no snubbing what'soever is intended towards the happy couple, and that we wish them all the tax breaks they can possibly arrange together in the future.

'Good Gwief Sir', said the man in the smutty raincoat and Speen Bridge deer stalker two sizes too big for him whils't addressing Mr M. Parry of Swindon upon the announcement of his possible wedding day attire ! "You can't in all seriousness be contemplating wearing those Union Flag slacks, spats, brogues, and morning dress on the big day ? What on earth will you wear as a buttonhole that doesn't clash Sir ?"

Whatever the circumstances, and whoever they are, I am beginning to feel sympathetic towards C&C. After so many set-backs, to have the wedding finally postponed in the final week because of the pope's funeral is just too much. Normally I wouldn't piss on a Royal if they were on fire,
but I wouldn't wish this series of knocks to their wedding day on anyone. I genuinely feel very sorry for them.

Is it possible that the whole series of events is part of a plot to ensure the wedding never takes place? Charles for one gives the impression that he believes it.

It sounds to me like fate is telling them not to do it, but they're not listening. It maybe isn't meant to be.

If in the absurd event of friday's wedding being cancelled, I think it would be a good idea for Charlie Boy himself to hold Tony's hand in the rubble filled streets of Rome and show the World what he's really made of, innit.

I would rather be a subject under Queen Carmela than Queen Carmilla, wouldn't you?

The Cardinals must have known there was a royal wedding that day. There was no need for the pope to be buried on friday especially. Do they not consider these things? If the royals have to consider the burial, why not the other way around?

Bloody inconsiderate I reckon, just remember it's most likely that JPII did have sex before becoming a priest, he did Box as well as Goalkeep etc, and he wrote a pretty contraversial book about sex in the early 60's too as a matter of fact, innit, to name but a few uvver fings.

What with the happy couple leaving Windsor very soon to travel to RAF Northholt and on to their honeymoon, could a Swndon accented Hijacker suddenly appear sayin 'Fly me to Cuba' and they end up in Guantanamo Bay as guests of Dubya ?

Of course they do, and they have long memories! This was a clear and present rejoinder to the continued use of the "fid. def." title by the bunch of recent German (Lutheran?) immigrants now calling themselves English monarchy. Tee hee!

Ironically, Friday would have been a disaster for a wedding astrologically, and Saturday is a much better forcast. So, all's well in the end. Maybe fate played a part.
