Interconnect NA-86 and NA-52

Posted by: Stan on 18 March 2004

Hi all,

Just received my CDX2 and Hi-cap2 last evening. It sounded really good (in the few hours i had to listen) so can't wait till it burns it completely!

Traded in my CD5 and flatcap2. Since the flatcap2 was connected to both the CD5 and 112, had an extra interconnect (NA-52) which i returned to my dealer.

The hicap came with the NA-86 interconnect, my questions are,

Can i use the NA-52 instead of the NA-86? Will it give me better results?

Since i do not have the cable with me not able check the connections.

As always, greatly appreciate the advice here, since i have always bought 'blind'.

Warm regards,
Stan

I think you will find those NA- numbers are codes for the people making the interconnects.
The differences to look for are outer sleeve colour the latest and better ones are black, and of course the number of pins. I don't know your equipment, so some one else will have to tell you which to use. Your dealer should be able to help.

Thanks Howard.

Will visit the dealer on Saturday.

Both the interconnects are black and had picked up the five series a year ago so these are the latest interconnects.

Warm regards,
Stan
