Any know if a CDP laser tracks from the center out or vice versa?

opposite to vinyl, centre outwards.

Speed varies between about 500 to 200 rpm as well!

Thanks guys. That settles an argument (in my favour) and I was also looking for the cause of a skipping track on a recent purchase. Mind you the state of it when bought I'm surprised it played at all.
