You gotta try this tweak . . .

In order to improve the illusion that musicians are coming out of my speakers and are in the room with me (or something like that) I got life size cardboard cut-outs of my favorite musicians, and I place them between the speakers while I'm listening. Glenn Gould, the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, Courtney Love, Leonard Cohen -- I have them all. I have a Leonard Bernstein cut-out coming any day now, with articulated arms held together with paper fasteners.

I do it too, although I only have Shane McGowan...

I tried Jimi Hendrix, but my wife didn't like the idea, the last straw was when the vomit stained the carpet. Keith Moon was no better, he smashed our telly, and Robert Plant tried to shag me.

I have Kylie, but didn't bother to buy any of her CDs

Blow-up dolls are much better than cardboard cut-outs.

Hey Rick
The great thing with a cut-out of Karen Carpenter is that she'll look exactly the same whether viewed from the front or the side.
Or from any angle for that matter...

What a grand idea!
Here I've been using life size cut outs of Linn Komri speakers all this time.
My next upgrade.

Oogh! Thank god he wasn't wearing Levis. We'd never have heard the end of it!

You're obviously still a youngster Rick. Many, though not all "50 somethings" are just teenagers in cardigans.

Hey, it's just one lifesize cut-out of the whole orchestra; not a cutout of each musician. (But that sounds like an upgrade, if I ever heard one.)
