A similar story is current on the BBC in London, so there may be some truth in it. If there is, lets hope the Pakistani military get stuck in and don't let anyone out alive.

yea, I saw this too. Not sure it will make much of a difference. I don't think these guys are at the helm anymore.

I was thinking about that, and to be honest I think you'd need to model it out with some decision tools. I personally don't think it's very cut and dry "yes" or "no" (given how little info we have).
