CD Database Software

Posted by: SteveH on 16 April 2004

I'm looking for some advice regarding which CD Database software works well. It must automatically identify CDs inserted in the CD Drive and also be capable of manual entry. If poss it would be nice to be able to add LPs as well and differentiate. Any suggestions for a fairly large CD collection?

Go with the best: Music Collector Pro.

Hi Steve

As an off the wall alternative, have you considered iTunes?

On the downside, it doesn't offer the same level of database functionality as MC Pro, but, on the plus side...

1. You can rip & play your CDs
2. Playlists are a really useful way to find stuff you like but have forgotten (which is handy when you get to my age Wink
3. It's free Smile
