will they go

hi all,
after your words of wisdom again.
as some of you may already know im seriously thinking of the sbls but have a couple of niggling thoughts in the back of my mind. i currently run pmcob1s through cdx2 82/180. ( soon to get s-cap )
now as you know the pmcs are quite bass heavy .
i used to have sbls many moons ago and found them a little bass light. but since then they have been upgraded and my system has come on a bit since then. especially my new cdx2 , which i have a feeling would work very well with the sbls.
anyway cant really make up my mind and would like some opinions especially from someone who has done similar thing. i have another 4 days before auction ends.
best regards, scotty

I don't find mine Bass light Madat all and if you need a relatively small compact speaker that can go right up against a wall in a average size room then they will sound superb through your system.

I bought the last pair of Walnut speakers from Naim and I play them through a CDX2, NAC202 and NAP200 and I love the sound, I'm upgrading to a 282 and 250 Next week and no doubt they will sound even better. Cool

The other good thing is most speakers look the same while SBL's have great 1970's styling that make them a good talking point when people come round.

Maybe someone else on this forum have SBL's and live around Essex that you could go and have a listen too?....

Rgds, Andy

Forgot to mention the one problem with buying SBL's is the constant attack from other forum members with hearing difficulties!.. Wink
