Warm up of always on systems & cd recordings

Hi guys and gals
Have had my 282/cdx2 etc.... a while now and have made some observations.
We all know of course that Naim equipment is best left on all the time as recommended by Naim. What I have come across is that after not playing a cd (for instance) for maybe a day that there is a 10 minute period before everything really comes together. Based on playing music at least twice a day during the week, that is, breakfast and evening.
I've even gone back to playing the first track again, which shows a noticeable difference.
Another thing that I've noticed is the differences beween recording of the same piece of music, for instance I have The Blue Danube, one of them is a much better recording than the other. Unluckily, whilst listening to the good one found several errors on the recording, someone accidently hit their bow on their violin, someone moved and something else I can't remember now!
