I need to get some height and a cleaner sound from my IBLs which are now on 1 3/4" oak blocks on a wood suspended floor. Do the Mana soundbases work as well with IBLs as they purportedly do with SBLs?

Never heard this combination, but having listened quite a lot to IBLs in their natural state and also having some SoundBases myself, I would say that for most people this would be an obvious move and a complete no-brainer.
Caveats:
The IBL lets you know all about what is upstream of it, and the SoundBases enhance this. If all is not perfect upstream, the result will be worse!
