Magnepan/Naim compatibility

Hello everybody at the forum.
I recently (last 2 months) got a pair of Magnepan's MG-1.6.
I've begun to drive them with my current amp: a Musical Fidelity A3.2 integrated. Predictably, I'm finding the A3.2 a bit wanting.
I'm now looking for an amp upgrade. I've listened to krell and plinius, mostly.
But 2 weeks ago I visited my local NAIM distributor. They had a pre/power combo (can't remember exactly which) on demo: what I heard blew me away!
The music-making ability of that couple of unassuming dark green boxes was just unbelievable...nothing like the krell and plinius (good in their own ways, no mistake)...but the NAIMS: mamma mia, just magical! Now I understand what all the fuss is about.
The distributor suggested NAC202/NAP200 as an initiation.
Now for my question that I hope anyone can answer:
HOW WILL THE NAC202/NAP200 WORK WITH MY MAGGIES?

Though I've never heard the combo, from what I gather Naim and Maggie have totally different philosophies on the approach to hi fi - just read some of the "flat earth/round earth" posts on this forum. I'd be curious what you heard the naim kit you liked so much driving. While I don't expect it would have the same sound with Maggies, I'd be curious, for curiousity's own sake, to hear what they sound like together. FYI, historically, I seem to remember Maggies sounding good with Bryston electronics - but again a totally different approach than Naim.

R: It was driving a pair of Naim Allae's, a cabinet speaker. You're right, a totally different approach.
But I wonder if Naim's P-R-A-T ability could really shine thanks to the speed and transparency of the Maggies?

R:I know. It's just too cumbersome to take the MG-1.6 down to the local Naim store auditorium.

R: Right again. Anyway, Bryston is not distributed in Portugal.
