Hamsters

The Hamsters hit Brighton last night ,wow what a gig ,even Oldie was seen to tap his feet, try and catch them if they come your way,it helps to like Hendrix & ZZ Top! Amazing the talent we have in this country, mostly ignored by the media ,I thought the Ian Parker band was stunning when I caught them at Blues on the Farm, must admit I had never heard of them before

Saw them at Guilfest recently and at the GBBF last year.
I guess that they suffer because they do mainly (exclusively?) cover versions. Having said that, they are very good at it.

Bugger!! I would have gone to that.
Must pay more attention to what's on in future.
Gaucho - I'll see you at Oldie's place again in a couple of weeks. I'm off on me hols!!

Hardly at the cutting edge of creative rock, as they do mostly covers, but if you want some great rockin' played by real musicians, it's hard to find better. A splendid night guaranteed for all.

This is amazing! I have an old children's album called something like "The Hamsters do the greatest hits of Disco" or something like that. It must be amazing to see a group like that live...
