Mike --

Are you as perturbed as I am by Barclay's Bank's assertion in their recent advertising campaign that we are "60 million Football Managers?"

The only thing I can think of is that they are trying to suggest that everyone on this island is interested in football.

Which, of course is 100% correct...[rolleyes]

Cheers,

Tim

You're missing a "Never" option.

I usually watch my local team's home games.

Basingstoke play in Conference South, which a reasonable standard of football.

I went to pretty much every home game from 1976 - 1995. I also went to London away games most times and Southampton, with the odd venture Oop t' North. I saw hundreds of 0-0 draws with Coventry or Man C, heavy losses to Man U and tedious 0-1 defeats at Godforsaken places like Plough Lane. On many days Tony Woodcock was the only player who even ran.

Then I got married, had kids, got Sky, and the grounds got seats and very expensive. I go to few live games these days which is a shame because the team I support is rather good.

I like watching the Eagles play on Monday nights, but of course that's not football to you lot.

I have never watched a game of football, either live or on TV. I doubt if I ever will.

"I like watching the Eagles play on Monday nights"

To start with an 81 yard TD is typically TO but you can't help but feel that Andy Reid will regret the signing eventually. And the loss of Buckhalter is huge.

Still the NFC East will be the division to watch this year with Gibbs, Parcells, Reid and Coughlin in charge whoever wins will certainly deserve it.
