Hi-Fi News CD Sampler - Not in the USA?

Well, the January CD Sampler did not make it to New York City or to any of the Colonies. Although I see page 17 gives a full page promo - NO CD. This was very surprising seeing that a Linn CD Sampler was attached to the magazine a few months back.

I have always tried to sell friends and family on Naim gear and the CD sampler would have helped. The fact that Linn's CD did make the trip and Naim's did not does not look good from a marketing standpoint. Also, I would have liked to hear cuts from some of the CDs I was going to buy from the website - Naim CDs are just not available here.

Looks like I'll just have to get my tatse of what you in the UK are listening to from my Linn CD sampler playing in my all Naim system.

Perhaps an additional pressing is in order for sale on the website or included with any purchase.

You can purchase Naim cds from any Naim dealer in the US, YOU CAN ORDER AND FIND many our discs in Tower. If you go to our website you can find all the distributor contacts. The distribution is patchy though and we would love to improve the situation.
I do not know what happened to the Sampler, did you complain and ask for it?
It should have been included.

The CD was not on Canadian copies either Paul. I was pretty disappointed when I opened the mag and got to the page listing the tracks on the CD. Does that mean I should ask for one at the newsagent?

Bad luck chaps because the CD is actually rather good. As a result I would like to track down the first 2 Naim samplers, any ideas?

I will call hfn about the disc and international distribution. Sampler's 1 & 2 are available from us and will be in our estore soon. Sampler will also be available. I will get back to you.....

I had also samplers #2 + #3. I found a solution to get the sampler #1!

It get's delivered from naim in a expensive box set called CDS2. The sampler is great, and the included player is not too bad either...
