NEW I-POD..HELP

When i switchd on my daughter's new i-pod,the only track that downloaded was 1 track of my pc,is this because i downloaded that track from the internet in the first place(mp3),if so can i get all the other tracks(non mp3) from my pc to the i-pod

If like me all your music is in WMA format from windows media player, you will have to convert it to MP3 or one of the other formats that the IPOD supports.

You can either re encode your CDs using Itunes, or covert the WMA files to MP3 using somthing like Advanced WMA Workshop. I cant remeber if I paid for it, or if the trial was good enough for my purposes, but it is only about £15.

i found that connecting the i-pod to the pc(usb II)AND DOUBLE CLICKING THE TRACK THAT I WANT FROM THE PC,IT GET'S SENT STRAIGHT TO THE I-POD. Smile

AL4N you won't even get a tenth of the functionality of the ipod unless you download and use itunes.

Its free and simply the best way to organise music, IMO of course.
