Some of my late 70's/early 80's LPs have inner sleeves with a skull and crossbones printed on them (the skull looks like a cassette) with the warning that "Home Taping is Killing Music"

Weren't they great! I've a few of those too. Might scan it, blow it up and make a T-shirt of that this weekend. I've got a few sheets of that inkjet iron-on T-shirt paper lying around somewhere.

CD prices reduced, CD sales increased.

Are they by any chance related?

HI
Also in the 70's/80's there were posters saying "HOME TAPING IS SKILL IN MUSIC".

Conincidentally, that exact t-shirt is availalbe locally at a T-shirt store that specializes in iron-on applique. You select the applique you want out of a catalog and they press it onto the tshirt you pick.

What store Mike ?

Jim,

I've seen 3 oulets in Vancouver. There's one right next to the Virgin Megastore, but I can't recall the name.
I think it's a line that any clothing store can carry, so there's probably one in your area...

I heard recently on t'telly that the record industry would fold if it wasn't for the 50-somethings still buying CDs.

But do I feel empowered? Roll Eyes

Nope. Big Grin

Neat. How about a logo saying 'Home Taping Didn't Kill Music (as it happens)'.

Cheers
