Makes yer wonder Why Ireland has the highest & best educated population in €urope and fair play to them; and Northern Ireland's system and performance is a mere shadow of its neighbours achievments? At first I thought maybe it was possibly to do with the Political situation and 'troubles', etc, but as Northern Ireland's Education system has far better results 'pro rata' than most of mainland Britain I reckon they must simply be cleverer, even under the silly system, innit.

When I drive into London in the future from the outskirts, after I've paid my mileage charge, congestion charge, possible clamping charge, speeding ticket, not to mention the parking charges, will I actually be able to afford any petrol for the motor ?

Bike job or walk home though cos public transport doesn't/wont exist, even then

Whils't watching snippets yesterday of CNN's 25th Anniversary Celebratory programs, I was particularly struck by one poignent sentence. I personally haven't seen any more film from 9/11 since the actual event, which I happened to be watching live at the time. like so many others, and one woman was explaining how she as a kindergarten teacher was at the time confused to what was actually happenning though actively with her colleagues clearing the kids out sharpish, after the first tower was hit.

A little girl looked up as the second plane came in low and hit the tower and said to her mother which all around heard too: "Look Mummy they're doing it on purpose".

I'm quite shocked & Stunned that not one caring motorist on this ere forum has made one comment about the new possible road charges announced in pricipal 6 days afore, innit.

Apparently the average drinker in UK gives out some £850 a year in drinks for his/her mates. Here in Germany we very rarely get involved with rounds as such, and each generally orders and pays for what they drink of an evening, I expect that's why our Mick likes Spain, innit ? After the World famous Mr James Whale of TALKSPORT RADIO UK read out one of my e-mails on air last Sunday, I really thought It would change my whole life-style, that I'd be invited to Journo party's full of lovely ladies and all sorts, but in reality I thought to myself Fritz Wotta prize Plonker you really are sometimes, innit !!!

I've just finished watching Larry King interviewing the Rev Billy Graham on CNN, and thought to mesen that guy must have a few stories to tell, innit. I had a boss a few years back (in social work) who was also an Evangelical Vicar, a great guy and all that, but I could never quite buy the fact that he'd followed in his father's footseps profession-wise if yer get my drift, and was also 'Chosen' as it were. My point is Billy Graham's kids are doing the same thing, and I just can't buy that (If they were running his business as it were, that's different) but to actually preach etc, I find most distastfull actually. I know certain Presidents manage for some reason to have the advantage of having a father as an ex.President, but let's hope that was a one-off eh ?
