Chaps

I just had too much malt which is plain stupid at my age.

I can feel it flowing through my veins.

My fine lady and I went to friends for the evening in Epsom...

On arrival...

Champagne x2

Then..

Beer x 2

Dinner...

Pinot x 3 (maybe 4!)

Desert and dancing

Pinot x2

Fireworks and New Year

Champagne x ???

Then everything gets kinda hazy until I awoke this morning @ 10am with a sore body (slept on possibly the hardest futon known to man!) and throbbing head!

12:30pm down the local pub, Sky and Chelsea.

Beer x2

Just beginning to feel OK now. Praise be that this is but once a year!

Enjoy and Happy New Year!

I got aquainted with a nice gentleman; name of Jim Beam.

I did have a glass of champagne at the appointed time, then back to the bourbon.

Hi and happy new year
I would normally have partied for 2 days but had a nasty bout of 'flu. Felt better on Saturday afternoon and had a can of Lidl's "Grafen Walder" pils which was very nice indeed.
Now feeling great and plans are afoot for a belated celebration next week.
Regards

Due to Mrs. LTD being on call we had friends over tonight to "toast" in the new year.

Decided that the hangover was not ideal so I settled on a nice, rare malt.

Distillery Issue by NcNab of LOCHSIDE 10yo.

And a bloody fine dram it is too !!!
