Baa Hummbug.....here's where I'm spending Christmas and New Year in 2004....on night shift - again!

No seriously, hope you all have a good one and all the best for the New Year.
I'm just a bit cheesed off, especially seeing as I was due home today but am here for another night due to the weather....

I followed the link and it looks to me like you have gone a little overboard building an isolation platform for your system.

You should have just bought a Fraim.

Deane,

...yeah, but at least out here the WAF doesn't come into it.....

- also, can I invite you into a PT please.

The question is is the water damping system better than spikes??

BTW Bummer Ali, But I guess the little bit of extra cash that results will probably come in handy for the next black box.

Geoff,

.....aye - bummer!
Don't get paid any extra either - all part of the job I'm afraid to say.
We usually only work one or the other, but this year we're getting shafted....off for both next year though.

As for the wee black box with the funky green light - it'll be my first one, and I'm now thinking 'budget' X series....CD5X,112X,150X,possible FC2,N805's all on something be it Fraim or alternative......although I don't think I'll be trying the water isolation platform!

Cheers,
Ali

Excellent. That should be a great combo. Make sure the 150X drives the 805's OK if thta's what you choose.

Senor Alves is slacking.

By now he has normally pointed out that it is not Christmas, but Advent.
Or something.
