I am using my Flatcap 2 to power my CD5 and the difference this makes is immense.However can I also use it with a Naim Headline headphone amp as I do not have a Naim preamp.

Yes, you can definitely use it. You'll have to get a SLIC cable, though. BTW, I suggest that you experiment switching the primary and secondary supplies from the Flat-Cap2 with the CD5 and Headline. It may sound better with the primary on the Headline and the secondary on the CD5. Catch you later!
