And now the Isoblue rack

Posted by: FangfossFlyer on 22 December 2000

I have been reading with much interest the various debates and threads on Mana and Hutter racks.

I have a Mana Ref Table under by LP12 (and have done for many years - 10 I think!). My Naim amps etc. are on 'ordinary' domestic shelving. For some time I have been wanting to compare the Mana with Hutter to decide my upgrade route - but have no dealer with both.

And now along comes Isoblue with their novel wooden racks. These are a stacking system and are nicely reviewed in Issue #8 - Nov/Dec2000 of the Hi-Fi+ mag.

Has anyone any experience of Isoblue racks with Naim kit?
How do they compare to Mana and Hutter?

Hi Richard,

Can you summarise their revue as the mag is quite difficult to find locally. I am interested in the Isoblue racks and would also like to hear peoples' views.
Out of interest, has anyone built up one of those 'TNT FleXy Tables' shown on their web site (tnt-audio.com). It looks fairly straightforward, and I was thinking of knocking one up in my spare time just out of curiosity. It seems too good to be true that it actually works well, given it's likely cost.
