Prompted ny Nimes post in the NJ noises thread.
How many of us use the library for music/DVD and how good are they at fulfilling your/our needs?
My pal recently sent me a list of his fave guitarists reults of trying West Sussex Library web searches :-
Ry Cooder - Texas (None)
Jeff Beck - Guitar Shop (No. One other album)
Antonio Forcione - Talking Hands (None)
Robben Ford - Talk to your daughter (none)
Pat Metheny - Off ramp or Travels (No. But 6 other albums)
Shawn Lane - Powers of Ten (none)
Scott Henderson - Dog Party (none)
Lee Ritenour - Color Rit (none)
- Festival
- Wes Bound
Fourplay - anything (4 albums listed and available)
Weather Report - Heavy Weather (Yes)

Is this the sort of level your County Library gives you?
They say that you can request any album and they will endeavour to obtain it, I have not tried that yet.
More popular albums are no problem and so far all my reservations on the web have been fulfilled usually within a week.
