One third of his future earnings.
Are footballers wives just a bunch of glam gold-diggers who trawl the clubs for rich pickings? Seems the same with F1 drivers wives.
You never get a horror, do you. Who are they?

The thing I cant believe is the fact that its a third of his FUTURE earnings - scary or what!

Without her help I suspect he may not of had a future to look forward to, I think the judge has got things right in the case.

Thinking of footballers wives, never leave your laptop in a blondes bathroom

Yeah...that's it. Future earnings, after what I believe was a £400k lump sum up front. I wonder if that applies in a negative situation - like if he went bankrupt owing millions.
I suppose any bloke finding her in a footballers wives type of club might just want a piece of it?! What goes around comes around, I guess.
It wouldn't be so bad if they used it properly - instead of it all going on Chav accessories. Smile

I think she already had the two houses and £250k a year from the original settlement...

I can't believe TAG McLaren makes stereo gear.

The point of this ruling is that it doesn't only apply to footballers, it applies to all men with a sustantial future income. That means you BTW. Smile

You are probably not aware of Elizabeth Duke "jooleery" from a catalogue showroom over here, but if you were you would understand that the Chav accessory market is huge. TAG McLaren gear being a perfect footballers system. Smile
(I'm beginning to sound like a real snob - sorry - must watch myself)

It's interesting that if you remove the word 'wives' from the above question, you could quite easily ask the question again and it still make sense. Not knocking anyone, by the way, it's just an observation.

In many cases, yes. I think that Ray Parlour has spent all his career to date with Arsenal so that wouldn't apply to him.
