I have read with complete amazment that Financial Institutions holding funds for the group "Jama'at al-Tawhid Wa'al-Jihad" are to be frozen.
I find it remarkable that we are still acting as Bankers and Financiers for cold blooded murderers.
Thoughts anyone?

I have a close friend who is an accounts manager at a big bank and quite high up. He has told me about the threads that they try to unravel to find who actually ends up with monies after being transferred all over the world. Many of these accounts are for organised crime and terroist groups - but it is one hell of a job to do the full trace. It isn't a matter of there being a cheque account held in the name of a terrorist group.
You know that probably better than anyone. Are you being provocative?

Its far too early in the morning for me to be provocative!
No I was thinking more that it shouldn't be frozen, it should be seized and used for compensation.

Even the Swiss are now cooperating with security services and EU tax departments.

This would seem to be a good idea.
On a less serious note ...
There must be millions and millions of dollars in Swiss bank accounts, where the 'rightful' owner is dead or gone. If someone could 'hack' into some Swiss accounts and keep checking until he found accounts that haven't been used in, say, 50 years and then syphon the funds out, he would have a victimless crime that would be virtually undetectable. Wouldn't he?
Any hackers out there?

NB you obviously don't go to the movies. If you did you'd know that it normally only takes about 3 guesses before the main system password is cracked. And then no matter which system you're dealing with you only have to type "Download to my bank account" and the job's done!

Just stick with the coke, pizza is far too fattening, although "maybe I'm amazed at the way you repeat it all the time" ?

You'd better not. There'd be jaws hitting floors all the way from Berlin to Salisbury.
I'm naturally assuming that you're not seriously considering the 'upgrade'.
Otherwise, you know where to find me.
