Springsteen's piece was originally in the New York Times on Aug. 5, headlined Chords for Change. I googled it that way; the Grauniad article didn't show up.

It was an eloquent, well-argued piece of writing. I don't think I've ever heard a piece of his music (I should hope so), but I like what he's saying.
Unfortunately it will make no big dent in the balance to run this in the New York Times, where most people already knwo what they're going to do with their vote. It would have been more useful in US Today or what have you.
