new next door 14 months ago
i live in a semi rented bungalow, next door just bought their's. for the past 14 months i have lived next to a buiding site constant noise from diy day and night and never complained including the 96 tons of sandstone that was dug out from the front garden by hand with a pom pom/jackhammer 12 skips later and the job still aint finished.
i have had visitors leave because they could not talk above the noise and never complained.
we had 2 layers of brickwork between us he removed his side and replaced with plaster board.
3 months ago the wife asked my wife could i turn my music down pink floyd it was 7.10 pm on a saturday night, i agreed .
i told mt neighbours any probs let me know and i will lower the volume level.
i got a letter from my housing association
saying they had a complaint about my loud music.
i think it was a nasty thing to do and let them know what i thought.
my revenge the neighbours did not have any planning permission for the work at the front
and left 2 walls in an unsafe condition .
they will be getting a visit from the duty planner.
the moral to this story
keep your own garden in order before you mess with a man and his music.
for the record i downgraded from jmlabs 915.1 floorstanders to the 906 stand mount 2 weeks after my new neighbours arrived.
i have never had any bother with the previous couple who lived there for the 7 yrs before.
