Rip off UK?

Is it me or are we getting even more ripped off than is usual? In HMV today nearly all normal albums now seem to be £14.99 or more.Chart and specials less.
Fleadh tickets for the lad arrived today @ £38.50 each, with booking fee and postage and PACKING 43.90. £5 bloody 40 pence what a rip.
It always amazes me that you have to pay even when you pick the tickets up.
Add to I hate this country thread.

I fully agree regarding HMV's prices. I tend to shop around for the best price these days e.g. Remaster of The Final Cut was 16.99 in HMV and 5.99 at cdwow (flown via airmail from Hong Kong!). Even better is to use emule or other MP3 downloader to "try before you buy".

well don't worry people get ripped off all over the world. I had to laugh since ticketmaster here in canada (the main source of buying tickets for anything here) have added a new delivery method. You can get the tickets by e-mail and print them yourself, the cost of doing this is $5.25 as opposed to $3.50 for them to physically post them to you or $3.50 to just walk into a ticketmaster pickup point and get them yourself.

Now theres a selling point nearly $2 more online! What a bargain?
Why should it cost you extra to pick up at the venue? Never worked that one out.
