Fender P Bass (Tony L ? )

I have recently acquired a Fender Precision Bass from Texas. I would really like to know the age of the bass. The s/n suggests that it is a ’61, which sadly I know it is not. I have removed the neck and checked for numbers and makers name, which I have found. I think that it is about a ‘71, which is still very nice, as it did not cost me a great deal of money.

I have tried to get an e-mail address from the Fender web site but there appears to be no contact link to ask them to give me a date of the neck.

I know this is a seriously obscure request, but does anyone out there know how to contact Fender USA?

Try the Fender users' forum via the Fender web site. They talk about guns rather a lot, but are a good source of Fender data.
