Hi I am new to the Vinyl market and have a limited number of LP's. I have an LP12 so only 33/3 speed will do(no lingo as yet) Could anyone advise me on some albums to go for.
Female vocals, accoustic and live performances are the sort of CD,s I go for.
Cheers for all suggestions.

Pretty wide field there jj!

Starting with the ladies, a few of my faves are:
Rickie Lee Jones - self titled album and Flying Cowboys
Just about anything from Joni Mitchell, but especially Hejira and Mingus.
Jennifer Warnes - Famous Blue Raincoat
Tracy Chapman - self titled album and Crossroads
Linda Ronstadt - Heart like a wheel
Suzanne Vega- Solitude standing
Shawn Colvin - Steady on

Alison Krauss has a few albums in LP some with the Band Union station and some solo these are definately worth a go.

Also try Antonio Forcione & Sabina Sciubba: Meet Me in London from the Naim store an excelent recording if you like acoustic Jazz Guitar
