Buying shoes online

Can anyone recommend a place to buy larger than usual footwear? I'm looking for shoes for my teenage son who takes a size 12. He likes Vans, and places like High and Mighty have very limited stocks of this sort of stuff. They are also very expensive. I found a couple of places in the US (Zappos.com for example) but they don't appear to ship to the UK.

12 isn't larger than usual. That's my size.
You could try here. I bought some Diesel trainers from there. Good service. They have a big range although no Vans at the moment.
I'm sure your son has very set ideas on what ones he wants. Perhaps you should let him have a browse. They have these in a 12. I believe they are popular with young people. Although I'm probably the wrong side of 30 to know:
