Following on from my post about 'Is Vic there? - what other great forgotten tunes can you come up with - hold on, do I remember a track called 'Love like Blood by Killing Joke ? - as I cannot have any music on at work today, I need some tunes to fill my otherwise empty head - any suggestions ?

I remember 'Love like Blood' - it was the first bass line I ever learned to play. Not as good a song as 'Tension' though.
Apart from the slightly dodgy Killing Joke:
Alien Sex Fiend - Dead and Buried
Siouxsie and the Banshees - well, anything really
The Cramps - Teenage Werewolf
A Flock of Seagulls - my classic (cliched) 80s memory is playing Scramble on my 16k ZX81 while "I Ran" played in the background on a crappy tape recorder.
Funny how one decade's futurism becomes another's nostalgia.

If it's the one I'm thinking of, then I'm sure Nirvana ripped that bass line off in one of their songs. Does anyone remember which one?

I’m not sure I can – I don’t have a copy and only remember it from video clips (Radio With Pictures!) and fairly limited airplay. Must have been released around 1980. Sort of a Jam / Clash lite pop/punk and good for jumping up and down to. Chorus had a My Generation stutter “Got to g g gg ggg get out of London”
