Cheap but good Music CD Vendors?
Posted by: Paul Hutchings on 31 December 2004
Ever the tight-arse with the $ being what it is at the moment CDs from the states seem dirt cheap.
However, with shipping and trying to keep each order under £18 it's not economical is so much as you can spend $10 to get $20 of CDs shipped.
Recently I've tended to use Djangos because they do free shipping on anything over $25 which usually means you can just squeeze 3 CDs in the customs limit.
Anyone have any suggestions on dirt cheap vendors at the moment?
Djangos seems to average about £6-7 per CD which makes CD Wow and the "cheaper" UK sites seem a little pricey so I still think overseas is the way.
Wondering if I'm missing out on some gem of an online store in Hong Kong etc or even in Europe so customs wouldn't matter?
Taste is wide so I'm looking for general dealers, not genre specific (except maybe rock/punk/metal which is the majority).
cheers,
Paul
