JFK Airport New York..

Posted by: Dave Hartley on 27 September 2004

Can anyone help.
On arrival at JFK airport a visitor to the USA has to fill in an I-94 W Form with various details required. One of which is the address you will be staying at whilst in America.

Is there any way that this address can be found as an enquiry from the UK.

Just hoping there is..

Ludwig,
Thanks for the URL , I've had a look at the site but I can't see how I can find an address filled in on the I-94 W form.
This is for someone who landed at JFK on the 23rd of September 2004

Oh, oh, oh! I thought you meant you planned a trip and were trying to look up the address for the place you'll be staying. Sorry bout that!

So you have no idea where this person is staying/stayed- name or address?

Ludwig,
No I don't know where they are staying. From doing a search on the web I have gathered that visitors have to fill in a form I-94W with the address they are to stay at.
What I'm trying to find out is if there is any form of access to retrieve this information.
I know the flight number and details of the traveller who I need to contact urgently.

Dave,

Since it's urgent you may want to try the British Embassy in Washington DC:

The British Embassy
Washington, DC
Emergency: (202) 588 6500

Or the consulate in NYC:

British Consulate-General
New York
Emergency: (212) 745 0202

I hope this is helpful and not backwards as to who would have their travel info. Best of luck.

Alternatively you can try the NY/JFK Port of Entry folks here- http://www.cbp.gov/xp/cgov/toolbox/contacts/ports/ny/4701.xml

Or maybe here? http://www.panynj.gov/AboutthePortAuthority/ContactInformation/

They're the cheery people who collected the I-94W, I would imagine. And I do think I had the above backwards. Maybe the US Embassy in London can help you, if that process also required enterring dates of travel and addresses.

Sorry. Frown

Ludwig,
Thankyou very much for all your advice it was really appreciated. I did speak to helpful staff at both JFK airport and also the Foreign office who advised that I'd put in place all that could be done.
We were trying to contact our daughter who fortunately phoned us yesterday. I will insist she now gets a mobile which I will pay for.

Where do you live in North America.?

Thanks once again
