Can you imagine a group of freinds eating all night in a decent restaurant free of charge, then complaining later because the food was crap !

I don't know what I want, but I want it NOW.

What I really want NOW is what I wasn't happy with yesterday.

But Chaps can we still complain about it even if we haven't voted upon it ?

Overheard in a restaurant:

Diner 1 - Oh! the food here is terrible!"

Companion - "Yes, and such small portions!"

cheers

Never been to a free restaurant and don’t know of any.
But in a decent restaurant by definition the food would not be crap,
John.

My actual motive for inventing tis thread was to compare the same principal as not being able to complain when not voting (as I'd lreft the thread so to speak). Nobody has jumped onto it, or probably just ignored it, my point being is; if it's FREE you can't conplain, if you pay obviously yes, and like-wise with voting if you don't bother to turn up to vote/register etc tec, and all that's been said a million times in different variations upon the same theme getting nowhere fast, you can't expect to be seriously listened to when moaning about the State of the Nation and its Guvners, innit.

A nice romantic reccollection of the good old days when women & most of the unwashed population couldn't vote anyway, let alone eat in restasurants, if at all ? Nowadays barring beaurocratic fuck-ups (postal voting), folks sectioned under the ´Mental Health Act (Many Homeless) prisoners of varying degrees, plus a few other bits and bobs, should never cp0mplain,espüecially as they can always get their pizza round the back by the dustbins for free, innit.
