Procol Harum "Grand Hotel" Quest

I've read somewhere here about someone's nicely re-mastered CD of Grand Hotel... the versions I've had, from original US version (yuck!), Japanese (not much better), to Castle re-issue of a few years back (better, but still congested/rolled-off sounding) have not satisfied. Any notions of what label may have a decent GH?
I had the original vinyl on Chrysalis (US, Godlike!), but that went the way of all flesh.

I'd also be interested in good versions of earlier stuff like Shine On Brightly...the Westside version I have is disappointing. Oddly, the original A&M CD from the 80's sounds like the vinyl I remember from school days!

Hi bhazen,

As you're now back into the LPs, I'd recommend sniffing out a used copy of Grand Hotel on vinyl. So far it's the best of the original vinyl Procol Harum albums I've come across.
