Naim Feng Shui

Naim kit is soooo sensitive to its environment!
Last weekend I decided something was lacking with my system, despite my not having changed anything. The "presence" (ie. very top end) wasn't there.
I checked out my isolation feet (the last time this happened, kids or missus had knocked one off and it killed the PRaT), but that wasn't it.
I checked my cables and noticed that the junction box of my home-brew hydra was resting against the hi-fi rack. I moved it away a bit.
I also slightly loosened the legs of the rack (unscrewed them an eighth of a turn).
Just these two simple changes and the presence came back again.
It's almost enough to make you believe in Feng Shui.

My rack is an Optimum - glass shelves, metal posts, looks nice, maybe far from optimum in the audio stakes though...

I have a lesbain neighbor that thinks I should use her Feng Shui woman because my space is dead, bad energy. I refuse to spend $400 to have someone say I should put a piece of metal by the door, and my plant away from the window, and a mirror backwards in my closet to reflect the bad energy from the bathroom. Besides, she doesn't hear the wonderful music I have from my stereo kit. I'm ususally rather irritated when she knocks on my door at 9:30 or later to chat, ask email questions, or see what i'm watching on the TV. That's the bad vibe she feels.
