Active with Proacs

Is it possible to go Naim active with Proac loudspeakers? Aside from having to remove or bypass the internal cross-overs, will naim's active units work with proac brand speakers (maybe the cross-over point can be adjusted) or are they voiced only for naim (and Linn, I guess).

I understand that Naim can make a crossover for just about any speaker, but it might not be cheap. That said, you would probably realized greater benefits by focussing investment elsewhere. I did not see your system listed, so if you would like lots of other opinions on what to do just edit your first post to include it.

I had ProAc R2.5s for about 3 years and really enjoyed them--great speaker at a lot of things, but definitely liked power--a 250 was about the minimum.
