looking for an out of print 'Symphonies' CD - can anyone help?

No, It's not there, but thanks for the kind word. I have the feeling that the Cd set I'm after was a compilation with tracks on it from some of these discs, but there's no 'Magnard' on Ebay right now. This is a tricky one.

indeed generous with your time helping me so much, but it's not on any of those sites, sorry to say, and the whole point is not just to get the music but that actual recorded collection, with Ansermet conducting. However it's nice to have some fresh suggestions - I had not previously looked at Fnac or Onino. Great try but, as they say, no cigar! Must be out there somewhere...

Yes, the URL I sent you shows the original cover of the set. Makes it even more frustrating that that can still be found, although other refs I had found for the CD are gradually disappearing. I'm not sure this set was ever released in the US - it's a French Decca release. But you never know - a copy might have found its way across the sea! Happy hunting. Thanks again
