Well buying another stand might help

but I don't think we need to go to that discussion. However you could do a lot worse than put it on Vuk's ball/nut/ball supported MDF. That will isolate it from the floor & will only cost pence.

Off the floor, maybe on a cross board placed between the bottom braces of the stand that holds the turntable. Also, you really must migrate to the now-not-so-new Black Snaics. They do make a world of difference
