SBL Tweeter Replacement

Three screws, soldering two leads on to two terminals and some special blue mastik to apply around the rear of the tweeter front plate.

The tweeters are matched in pairs (all four drive units are) using a computer so it's always best to replace both at the same time.

Tweeters cost £53.00 each inc. vat.

Mark, i recently had my tweeter pairs replaced, but no mention was made by the dealer that they required matching to the bass drivers.

My dealer requested i just bring in the tweeter sections.

Does the mean my SBLs are incorrectly configured ?

I just e-mailed you, and have edited my previous message slightly!

I had new tweeters installed in my SBL's which were about eight years old. Well worth doing. Any recording engineer will tell you that cleaning up the treble also cleans up the bass.

Apparently; it's the accumulation of household dust etc: (much worse for you smokers), which causes the performance 'fall-off'.

For a little over £100 it's good v.f.m.
