Fans of SF might like to know that there is a '2 on 1' CD out called 'Rock While I Can Rock: The Geffen Years'. I have it.

Logically enough it's effectively a compilation of two of his great albums on the Geffen label - 'Streets Of This Town'(1988) and 'The American In Me'(1992).

It's a 96/24 remaster as well. Excellent.

A very neglected artist who has released a number of consistently good albums over the past 25 years or so. One of the first things I did when I got my home PC 4 years ago was to put "Little Stevie Orbit" and "Steve Forbert" on to CD. It was a real labour of love but the hours and hours of work getting them clean as a whistle were well worth it. They've both accompanied me on many holidays.

I never could work out why two such excellent albums appear to have been lost.
