Those little ticks keep appearing next to topics on the forum and seem to indicate the enthusiasm with which the thread is received by members.
So, as I lack depth in my sense of humour, I thought I'd see if I could start a topic about nothing in particular and see if it got any ticks.
I'm going to see if I can rate this thread right away - just as soon as I post this topic.
Sorry for wasting your time.
Deane

Fritz,
I had the inside track all along. Your supervisor was on the blower just yesterday saying that you'd finally finished your shelf-stacking duties for the quarter, so it was only a matter of time...

Being a one man band of which I am, Freedom sometimes is a hard bit T'swallee and not being on a sympathy trip by any means: honnist, my father a Yorkshireman born and ex- Met Cop will be sorted tommorow moaning in City of Lóndon Cemetary and it's hard from a distance at times to avoid crackin up, and that's the truth innit.

I'd just like to say I agree with everything stated in this thread, while at the same time broadly disapproving of the philosophy behind it.

Geoff,
Thank you for mentioning me in dispatches.
Of course you realise that according to my previously-stated timetable I shall comfortably exceed your post-count by June of next year.
Please feel free to congratulate me in advance any time you wish.
