first track on new system

All being well,Peter from Cymbiosis will set up my new Naim system next Monday evening.Being a terminally sad sod,I have agonised over which track to play first to welcome Naim to my home.I have decided against my usual fare of Zappa and Pete Atkin and go for Fairport's 'Farewell,Farewell'-a tad ironic but I feel that Naim systems probably have a sense of humour.

For me it's the title cut from Joni Mitchell's Blue. It isn't my favorite song; not even my favorite Joni Mitchell song. It's just become a small tradition.

Roy Harper: On Summer day or Evening Star
Fugees: Ready Or Not

The Moody Blues' "Lovely To See You" is my traditional first track to play on a new system or component; I'm amazed that other people do this!

I used to use "Here comes the sun". Beautiful acoustic guitar intro followed by that great big fat bass coming out of nowhere. Lovely.

Don't have a first play on a new system thing, but I have had a tradition of first and last track in a house when moving. And the track is "Naive Melody (This must be the place)" by Talking Heads.
Pete.
