Not long now our Jack, though God only knows where you can sail the ship when
you do finally take the helm, your options really do seem somewhat limited now
don't they ? Gordon will swiftly be off to his PFI boulstered buddies in the
private sector in the first available lifeboat, Cherie will have saved enough
dosh from her 'Work' to get her backpack sorted and out of the public gaze, and
give our Tony time to write his memoirs with Lord Richard of British Virgin
Island fame. Yes Jack ! you will certainly need a team and a half to get her off
of the rocks this time around Sir, and I'm sure you can do it too, because
let's face it, there simply is no other alternative, innit.

Pretty low but par for the course.

Neither party dares to tell the truth these days or even has any 'truth'. Rather than policies coming from their own beliefs they come from marketing men telling them 'what the voters want' and how many points a particular piece of policy will gain or lose them.

I'd like to see politicians lead the public rather than follow it.

Quite right I agree totally, I was also most amused yesterday to see how Blair dodged a direct PFI question from a pleb (you or I)regarding Health matters, in which he simply answered to the tune of they get paid for thier positive results (they being the so-called PFI firms in question). I've come to the conclusion that after Blair leaves (which I feel will now soon now, as as even he will admit absolute power corrupts) our Gordon will get the blame for all that follows, and the real PFI story, and Jack etc will steer the ship back on course Hopefully !

Sorry ! I retract that sugestion regarding lowering the voting age to ten years old, quite ludicrous when I thought about it more properly ! Yes, more in tune with the present feel of things logical in UK, and the general use of technology to pass the buck by, and I'm allright Jack across the board I feel a far more appropiate age reflecting Government and its Serviles (Cybill) would be five, innit.
