Faithless - No Roots
Posted by: Brian OReilly on 16 June 2004
I've just had a couple of listens to the new Faithless in the car (which is about the worst place for me to listen).
It seems, well, a little dull in comparison to the first three albums, having moved away from that signature echoey, industrial sound to something that includes shades of 70's disco ???
I'm all for artists moving forward, and I've a lot of, er, faith in this group, but although it's an interesting piece of work, something seems to have been lost ?
Hopefully it will burn in over the next few listens.
Anyone else have a view on this ?
