Black Keys- Rubber Factory

The new one by the Black Keys is out Sept 6th. You can stream the entire album and view a new video from the "e-card"
here.
For those in Seattle go see 'em tear it up on the 4th! The Drive-by Truckers show should be killer too.

Black Keys fans are likely to enjoy The Dirtbombs, too. "Ultraglide in Black" is their best.

Nick,
FWIW my fav Black Keys record is the raw "Big Come Up". Jon Spencer Blues Explosion might also be worth a try- he did some bluesy garageish stuff in the mid-90s. A bit of caution- he's OTT outrageous, his quality varied greatly, and he mixed a broad spectrum of styles. I mention these things because JSBX seemed to be a love 'em or hate 'em band. Again FWIW I probably like "Extra Width" the most. ejl's Dirtbombs rec is excellent.
ejl,
I know you're familiar with JSBX- I saw that Boss Hog cassette in the system pics.

ejl,
I traded my s/h CD of the s/t one a few years ago.
PS- That cover *somehow* brings Pussy Galore to mind.

Nick,
How are things going here? Did you place your Black Keys order?

Which one, Nick? If I could figure out how to link to pics on my ISP-hosted website, I'd show you some shots of the Black Keys' show last weekend!
EDIT: I think I got it. Let's see here...
