System Pics 2005
Posted by: Steve Toy on 05 November 2004
Further to Geoff P's marvellous pics on This thread, a new year and a new thread to post pics of your pride and joy (all-Naim or at least part-Naim) awaits so that we can all get nit-picky about placement issues - to your ultimate sonic benefit!
Regards,
Steve.

Nice pic Stefan, but wasn't it possible to cut the picture in 2 and place them under each other, or just make the picture a bit smaller ?

Interesting picture Stefan.
First comment from my wife was :
"Why does he only have one speaker stand ?"
...... there's hope for her yet

Think of it a bit like when the January edition of your favourite Hi-Fi mag comes out in December..... except it's November.... :P

Geoff, that's a really nice looking sistem you have there! The lighting in the top most photograph looks fantastic and what a cool rug you have as well!
It looks like it would be a wonderful room to kick back in on an evening and immerse yourself in some beautiful sound.

LOL, long-time-dead !
Yeah, when I picked up the Mangers, there was only one stand, the other one has to stand on its flight case...
Alco,
it was so much work to stitch all the single shots together (and I left the door ouside the picture !), that I'd hate to separate them for "web page sanitary reasons". If you use a 21 inch monitor (or a beamer), you might see it all in a whole piece
Just keep the pics coming, and there'll be page 2, soon - with normal dimensions...
Best regards, freundliche Grüße
Stefan

Thanks for the comments. I must admit I find low lighting relaxing and it helps the music flow.
Nigel
Whats under the carpet wood or concrete?

Geoff
Nice pictures. Did you try chips under the TT's spikes? I found that the sound is more focused with them. Is it worse without the clamp?

I think that you mean: cheap and simple setup ??
Well in my budget and room is sound realy great. Maybe the good match with my self contruction Dynaudio speakers is the golden goal.
see at my site: my site at "mijn set"
I'm not so good in english but what are you missing?

Well, nothing has changed in my system lately
(which I'd like to see as a good thing actually)
but who knows what 2005 will bring me...
plain and simple

Thanx Nuno, yes imho it's very good!
Must say it is a modified version though.
(better powercable, inside cable, and a few other small changes/improvement inside)
