You're right this space would'nt be complete without a picture of the white rabbit in the Geranium pot stuffing it's face with my wife's Geraniums whilst wearing a swimming suit

The rabbit has now gone on a long holiday to my Daughter's friend.

I have been listenig to a complete AUDIO NOTE System in Paris including TT , and I have been very impressed: how so small modules could be so musical. I am currently following NAIM road, but I am wondering what will be my next CDP...
You mentioned your new CD + transport + speakers. What about your PREAMP / AMP ?

Nigel - good spot! - Yes Multiyork, purchased in Brighton.

Paul - I am at about the 1900/2000 mark on number of CD's.

Mark - sofa against back wall, have not tried down the length of the room. I have not measured the room but it is a good size.

The short answer is "Don't know", but since I had some conversation with both Josef and Daniela Manger, I guess they just don't "believe in" a lot of the stuff that we nerds do: cables, positioning in the room, non-parallel cabinet walls, etc. They use little rubber thingies between the bass and mid/hi compartment, and nothing to couple to the floor. Is that a sign of superiority ? My guess is (as yours): It's room for tunig...

Well, what to say...I listen to Hajdinjak Labs Jubal Classic 60 W, EL34 in triode mode pentodes tube integrated amplifier.
That design don't use any PCBs, all is hand made 3D point to point wrapped wire design.
Everything else you know.

Well, about your new player...if you have all Naim system, than buy Naim, if you like AN and plan to make some more radical changes, take AN if you like. It's just a matter of your own preferencies. But one thing is for sure, you can't go wrong with any of them.

Alco, I love the simplicity of your system. Tho I'd probably have to have another box for the tuner as I'm always listening to the radio. I have way too many boxes and wires the way it is now, but happy with my sound.

Unfortunately the radiostations in Holland suck bigtime!
There's only one radioprogramme in the week, that I like that's called American Connection, every Saturday from 18:00 to 20:00 pm. (americana,alt.country,singer-songwriter,acoustic live-performances)
Most radiostations here in Holland only play R&B, Hip-Hop,(c)rap, and that kinda shit.

And there are 2 very populair stations that seems to play nothing else but Robbie Williams, Anastacia, Celine Dion,etc... (YUK)

The main problem with my pictures is the lack of available light, I always do them when bored in the evening. As its macro and I am using a long focal length the shutter can remain open for some time hense all the hash in the pictures.

I am still learning.

But your pix has less grain than mine.
Freehand/long exposure makes 'em even worse at night for sure.

What camera are you using? I have an E10 SLR which is quite handy for macro, but some of the latest cameras whip mine into shape signifcantly

Is that a TV in the background Kuma? What's on? It looks kinda interesting
