Very nice speaker. Is it designed to be placed directly on the floor or is there a stand? Don't know if You've seen the picture of the danish Kibri speaker under Your Manger thread?

thanks for an "alternative opinion" on the looks of the CARA (...)
I must say I was caught by Their sound first, and then by the looks, also because I was able to talk to the builder, and the wood that was chosen and the way it was symmetrically crafted had teh Shahinians in mind. I understand, though, that there are people that don't like them.
The stand on the floor, and very non-high-endish: They glide on soft rolls (like Shahi... but we had this, before...) Placement is not too critical, maybe because they are a dipol(ish) design - i.e. they're "open" at the back.
Yup, have seen the Kibri and no wonder I like their design. Have you heard them ?

I've heard them on my system, see below. They are dynamic and detailed. Only lack is the bass, but that's what one could expact from a stand speaker. My general opinion is good, they really did surprise me.

): It all sounds great. After plugging everything together, I was negatively shocked. By now (three days), I feel like there's break even with the 282/HC, But then, I currently play new CD's, which were not here, before. You know how much I hate listening with the "golden tester's ear".
